Tulla's Headspace
A hot, new, innovative, alternative band. Defined by grinding guitar riffs, contagious melodies, and the soulful vocals of Laurie Alberts. Accompanied by intense dynamics and driving rythems. This is music for the mind, body and soul. The concept of Tulla's Headspace was created by singer/songwriter Laurie Alberts. She took the name Tulla, from the very first roll-playing character she ever created in a online mmrpg. But the "headspace" is all Laurie's.
Laurie has been singing since grade school and has been honing her skills as a song writer since highschool. Some of her biggest influences include Kansas, Rush, Judas Priest, Sevendust, Trust Company, and King's X, just to name a few. The list goes on and on. Laurie is a huge music fan and listens to almost everything from hardrock to traditional Celtic.
Laurie Alberts was born as Laurie Van Ness in The Dalles, Oregon. She was involved in jazz ensembles and legit chiors throughout high school. She completed her Recording Arts Certificate at Goldenwest College in Huntington Beach, California
